Leaf crunching. That's what we call it. It's a little tradition hubby and I share. When the color's still beautiful and the leaves have begun to drop, we venture out for a peaceful walk in the woods. It's something we look forward to every year.
Sunday morning was perfect for leaf crunching. We dressed in layers (handmade scarf included) and headed to a nearby park. Hikers we are not, but we braved a moderate two-mile trail.
The colors were spectacular and there was a nice thick layer of crunchy leaves beneath our feet.
There's usually a cup of coffee involved in our annual leaf crunching adventure and this year there was an egg and cheese bagel too. Traditions.....so special aren't they?
