Remember this Amaryllis? It took about eight weeks from planting to full bloom. I love it!! I didn't inherit my grandmother's green thumb for house plants for sure, so I was a bit concerned that I would be able to properly care for this thoughtful gift from my new quilting friend. If you've never tried growing forced bulbs inside, you should definitely consider it. Plant the bulb, water it occasionally, and the end result is a beautiful burst of sunshine.
