This shelf hangs in my Keeping Room right off of the kitchen where our breakfast table is. It holds a collection of all sorts of things :: some are family pieces and some are things I've picked up in antique stores and thrift shops over the years. The china doll was a gift from my mom and dad when I was a young girl. It's one little corner of my home that I haven't fiddled with much. It makes my heart sing just the way it is.
And this is what I'll be working on today:
Pillows for the keeping room using a fifty-cent piece of thrifted fabric and a little ball fringe thrown in for fun.
