Last week I decided to make a quilt. Hubby and I've had the pleasure of being pseudo aunt and uncle to a very special girl who we've known for eighteen years. She's graduating from high school and this quilt is being made for her with love.
The log cabin blocks were constructed using honey buns from Moda. I didn't plan the composition :: just closed my eyes and picked a strip. Each log cabin block is surrounded by pale pink Kona cloth. There are two more blocks to make and some crisp white sashing to apply before quilting and binding. Nine days and counting....I can do it.
