Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? We do, in very small and simple ways.
My favorite Valentine memory was finding hot pink Post-It notes with sweet messages covering the entire bathroom mirror. Hubby's creative like that. We've shared special dinners out, and made heart shaped pizzas and mock strawberry daiquiris with whipped cream. It's those extra little efforts that make an ordinary day special.
I love to try new recipes and have been eyeing these scrumptious-looking Valentine treats. These message-in-a-cookie cutters are very sweet and look like so much fun to make. And this tutorial, for Valentine treasures, makes me want to run out for supplies in the middle of our blizzard. If you love all things vintage as much as I do, check out West Virgina University's Vintage Valentine online exhibit. On this site, you can view forty vintage postcards, cards, and 3D cards, and send those images to a loved one with your own personal Valentine message.
Whether you celebrate big, small, or not at all, wishing you a Valentine's Day that makes you smile.
