We got up bright and early yesterday morning, dressed in lots and lots of layers, and gathered in the rain to participate in a 5K walk. This particular walk was organized to raise money for breast cancer research and support in our local area.
It was cold, and it was wet, but it was a great time for a very important cause. The course was beautiful and we had supporters cheering us on every step of the way....
But most importantly, it was a morning to support and celebrate our friend and the many others whose lives have been affected by this disease.
