Last night we spent the evening with good friends and good food. Appetizers included:
Gouda cheese with fruit,
Mini Crab Cakes from the April 2009 issue of bon appetit (I liked these alot but hubby not so much) and some fabulous stuffed endive bites that disappeared before I snapped a photo. Our friends brought them - maybe they'll share the recipe and I'll post them here.
Dinner was a joint effort with some Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Parmesan, salad and bread. Yum! And for dessert, Ina Garten's Espresso Ice Cream. Hubby and I are huge coffee ice cream fans and we definitely give this recipe five stars.
Lots of fun, no guilt for indulging, and today :: back on track with healthy choices.
