I'm In Love.....

with growing vegetables in the backyard. We're currently harvesting lettuce and spinach, and anxiously waiting for cabbage, leeks, radishes, carrots, and Swiss chard.

The addition of freshly snipped spinach leaves has taken my blueberry breakfast smoothie to a whole new level. One blender full of this healthy goodness provides several servings of fruits and vegetables :: a great way to start the day.
I've been using almond milk as the base for this smoothie. Just blend one cup of water and a small handful of raw almonds before adding the remaining ingredients. Delish!
