The addition of freshly snipped spinach leaves has taken my blueberry breakfast smoothie to a whole new level. One blender full of this healthy goodness provides several servings of fruits and vegetables :: a great way to start the day.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1nSQKNHGU2MwQA50brtL02wUcxsPFVYbRfRW5zXL8r-_MknAm8oOtDhPgdsZzLr7BJ5bajOh3ZIT1IkHJC3uCumaBI_B9pJoGplZnCcuXj_W7xRvCst20ZPfDNfwIVdnDiFS7N9KUeklt/s400/Spinach+%26+Potager+from+Window+013.jpg)
I've been using almond milk as the base for this smoothie. Just blend one cup of water and a small handful of raw almonds before adding the remaining ingredients. Delish!
